Back Home for Surgery

After our weekend in Brunswick, GA we came home for Peter's planed surgery. We arrived home on Sunday, Oct.9, Peter played golf on Wednesday, and was in for surgery on Thursday morning. He was having a torn meniscus repaired in his left knee.  It was outpatient surgery and Celebration Hospital was efficient and well organized. There was loads of space to wait, the surgeon actually came out to talk to Jane, and Peter was ready to go home about 2 hours after the surgery was done.  We left home at 6:30AM and were back home by 3:30PM.  Peter was a little sleepy but had no pain. Now, a week later he has little to no pain and is walking easily. We go back to see the doctor tomorrow, Oct 17, to see what he can do for activity.
