Thursday we left Lakenheath for a short drive to Cambridge with Ann, Terry, and Emma. We shopped in the morning then met for lunch at a Jamie Oliver's restaurant. What a delicious, visually appealing meal. We started off with a champagne drink (I forget the name) and moved onto the starter of savory breads and dipping oil then the main course. Everyone had something different. Terry's dish was the most unusual looking!
After lunch the girls continued on their shopping trip and the boys left to see some of the Cambridge historical buildings.
It was a wonderful and relaxing day before the big weekend starts....beginning with the girls arrival in the early morning.
