Cleaning Day

We woke to 40' temperatures but no wind so by 9AM we were up and ready to scrub the decks. Jane took a few pictures of the damage!
Fish parts left by the osprey

Our poop spotted canvas!
After cleaning the boat Peter replaced the starboard running light cover and the anchor windless remote plug.

Concrete piling that caused hull damage.
We met the 5 people who saved our boat from more damage during a high wind storm. One couple live in the condo ashore and spotted our boat line was broken and she was rubbing against the concrete piling. The 3 people from 2 sailboats beside us joined them in switching lines and trying to pull the boat away from the concrete. It was a difficult job trying to move the boat against the wind but thankfully they were able to do this and save us from some major damage. We had the group over this afternoon for drinks and appetizers. There is nothing like fellow boaters to help each other out!  A HUGE thank you goes out to these saviors. They made our day a very happy one today.
