I hope people did not get the wrong impression from our last post. We are by no means quiting the adventure. We were just expressing our frustration with the weather and getting stuck for the best part of a week here in Charlston. We are chomping at the bit to get moving again and find warmer weather. I hope some of our friends in NEB are still following our trip. What an adventure, I highly recomend it. Another great cocktail hour(or two) this evening on Kinvara with two crews.

Hi kids! I hope you didn't take Bruce's comments seriously. He was reading your post to me out loud and we were both laughing at your frustration. How often have we been there too?! We follow your posts almost daily and are enjoying your adventure vicariously. We also note that if you guys are constantly in fear of grounding, ESMERALDE wouldn't get anywhere. Did you catch the note about the truck? Bruce got sick of the BMW and bought a Ford F150. I love it! xx, D.

Its cold, wet and dark here in CT and s/v Brenna is in the hard. I would much rather be afloat in warm rain and wind and be battling sandbars and currents than raking leaves. Your posts are great, especially the challenges. This is precisely why I'll never step aboard a cruise ship. Bring it on...../Ian
