We did not leave today due to high winds & gale force warning (winds 33-45K) this afternoon. Even though we would be travelling inside the ICW is very close to the ocean and these winds affect the tides and we don't want to go aground again! So now the plan is to try again tomorrow morning. Jane finished a book and went through 2 DVD's. Peter read then watched his beloved "Pirates" movie. We also tinkered with our chart plotter and found out how to reset the system to get real time tides and currents along the way. It was preset on Greenwich Mean time so we had to make a time adjustment for that. Tonight we are going to the bar for drinks and dinner with another couple, Beverly & Larry, stuck here also. They are on a 44'Swan sailboat from Annapolis, MD and do most of their travels outside the ICW.
We are still hoping to be in St.Mary, Georgia for Thanksgiving. It is on the Georgia/Florida border so we will be able to go offshore to finish our trip to Melborne or Vero, wherever we decide to hold up for the Hollidays.

No complaints! You could be having to visit your boat in Maine as it is being re-built due to an encounter with a rock. Or dealing with cranky customers or employees. Or having to wax your new truck.Dorsey says HI!
